Five New Case Studies

The case studies examined here by Architectural Record magazine are all new schools, but quite different: the Rosa Parks School, in Portland, Oregon; Tarkington School of Excellence, in Chicago, Illinois; North Central Junior High School in North Liberty, Iowa; Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Fossil Ridge High School, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Although their emphasis and school populations are different there is similar attention paid to elements like daylighting and energy efficiency ....
